Here are the show notes for Episode 1: Meet and Greet with your Host
Hey there parenthood pals! Let me officially welcome you to the Building Blocks for Tiny Tots podcast where we will talk about all things itty bitty. Well, not just itty bitty, but we will dive deep into the mind of our precious little ones and talk about the truth behind all things parenthood. And yes I’m talking about those week old cheerios that you will find in every nook and cranny of your home, vehicle, and pockets. We all have them, so why try to hide them.
Instead lets embrace the messy and imperfect together. This is a space for all to feel welcomed and accepted because parenthood can be challenging whether it’s your first kid or your fifth kid. It’s all new and navigating this world can be tricky. I want to serve a virtual lifesaver in the sense that I want to share all the victories, challenges, and knowledge with you that I can because everyone needs a parenthood bestie and I am so excited and blessed to be yours.
But before we start on this journey, let me introduce myself and tell you all the details. My name is Karyn Moore. I’m the proud owner of the Little Country Teacher blog and the Tiny Tykes Learning Box. Which speaking of that box it contains all kinds of fun learning activities and resources for each area of development for children ages 3-6. I am currently accepting people on my waitlist for my latest box which you can find on my blog at littlecountryteacher.com. I started my teaching career as a kindergarten through third grade learning support teacher, moved to 3rd grade, back to learning support, before finding my forever home in Kindergarten. I have been teaching kindergarten for the past 3 years and I have really enjoyed it. From teaching kindergarten, I have come to find my true passion which is helping parents or caregivers get their children ready for kindergarten and future school success. Besides teaching, I’m a mom to a spunky little girl, a wife to my high school sweetheart, and a fur momma to Sadie, Cooper, and Bebe.
So now that you know a little about me, let me tell you about my why. As a parent and teacher, I know firsthand the importance that a solid foundation has on a child. I also know how difficult it can be to find resources or ideas to help where it is needed the most. The goal of this podcast is to provide valuable knowledge into the world of your child and his or her developmental milestones.
Through the upcoming episodes, you will be able to learn how to best help your child or children be successful and grow into lifelong learners. Of course I will be sure to sprinkle in some needed parenthood humor and the occasional teacher humor as well. We can all use a good laugh once in a while and it is so important to know that we are all human and perfection is just a disguise. Plus everything in life including parenthood is more fun with friends am I right?
I am beyond excited that you have decided to join me and navigate the journey of parenthood together. Be sure to hit the subscribe button on your device now so you don’t miss a single episode because we are just getting started, friends. Be sure to give your kiddos a big squeeze and I’ll see you on the next episode of Building Blocks for Tiny Tots
